Many houses today are constructed without basements. Nevertheless, there are still personal items that need to be kept safe and dry outside the living area. Our tool sheds, firewood racks and garden boxes provide the ideal solution for additional storage space outdoors. Whether it's gardening equipment, tools, bicycles, furniture, firewood, cushions, toys or other garden tools, there's plenty of room to store everything.

We are now expanding our existing product range with a new line, the Juno tool sheds. The new product line offers even more choice and design options with a combination of two styles, two roof shapes, three colours and up to 14 different sizes. In addition, our existing series of Berry tool sheds now features a new highlight: the new Vario style. In this way, the exterior of the tool shed can be customised. With on-site cladding, various infills can be selected on request to allow you to incorporate your own design ideas and customise the tool shed to perfectly complement the style of your garden.

In contrast to timber tool sheds, all Hörmann storage space systems are made of robust, single-skinned sheet steel that is galvanized and has a high-quality coating. The tool sheds, firewood racks and garden boxes have a coil coating on both sides, making them weather-resistant and mould-resistant, UV-resistant and non-flammable. They are also extremely easy to clean, long-lasting and low-maintenance. The storage space systems offer an impressive selection of colours, designs and sizes and can be individually customised. Practical accessories make it possible to flexibly expand the tool sheds both on the inside and outside with well thought-out solutions and create both the perfect look and range of functions. Another advantage: all Hörmann storage space systems are CO₂-neutral as standard thanks to various measures for CO2 reduction and compensation. 

The comprehensive Hörmann product range is manufactured across 40 production plants. Each plant specializes in the manufacture of certain products. Our new, robust Plaingrain surface finish demonstrates that our developments go hand in hand and are fully tailored to the customer's needs. For the first time, it enables a uniform look and feel for door combinations. This means that sectional garage doors, hinged garage doors, side sliding sectional doors, side doors, entrance doors and industrial sectional doors can be designed to perfectly match each other. This is a big plus, especially in residential construction, where the entrance door and garage door should reflect the style of the home. Plaingrain is not only particularly robust, but also looks great. Thanks to its finely textured particles, the new matt, modern surface finish works well in any architectural context.

Insulated doors play a very important role in the food and retail industries. They help to keep the temperature in the cold and deep freeze rooms constant, ensuring the quality and shelf life of the products stored inside. Hörmann offers a variety of solutions from a single source that are designed to meet specific requirements and rated for different temperature ranges.

The new Hörmann insulated hinged and sliding doors can be used to equip cold rooms down to 0°C and deep freeze rooms down to –28°C. They are mainly used for closing off smaller cold storage facilities or larger cold stores in supermarkets, butcher's shops, the food industry or food logistics operations. These doors ensure quick pedestrian passage, to retrieve temperature-sensitive products for example. Cold rooms and deep freeze room doors are known for their robustness and durability and are available in custom sizes.

Hörmann's product range includes insulated doors that are the perfect solution for large hall passageways and transitions in the food processing industry, cold stores and dairies. The high-speed sectional door IsoSpeed Cold 100, the V 4015 Iso L and V 4020 Cold high-speed doors with flexible curtain and the F 6010 ISO and F 4010 Cold high-speed folding doors are the ideal solutions for various applications in cold and deep freeze logistics. Their sections with thermal breaks and insulated curtains reliably reduce cold losses in deep freeze areas. Opening speeds of up to 2 metres per second ensure rapid traffic flow to maintain the cold chain.

Depending on the area of application, a combination of insulated doors can create an ideal synergy – for example, when the high-speed door ensures quick opening and closing during the day and the freezer room sliding door serves as an insulating closure at night.

Digitalisation in the construction industry is no longer just a myth – it's become a reality at all levels of the value chain. Digital services can make processes for specialist trade partners, skilled craftsmen, architects, and planners much more efficient. This is why we have been steadily expanding our digital offerings in this area for years, optimising both our internal processes and our collaboration with partners.

What was once a laborious process for creating dimensional drawings is now all automated. With HoePlan, you can now create a customised technical drawing in three easy steps at the push of a button while creating a quotation or order item: Enter the order in the iHAAS, use the new “Dimensional drawing” feature, and automatically receive a drawing that aligns with the quotation. This greatly reduces the effort required, speeds up collaboration with architects and planners, and also lowers the error rate.

Another very useful and convenient digital application for fitting and maintenance is our product ID that can be found on the product itself. In the past, product information had to be requested via our website or from the factory in question. Now there's no need: Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone and get exactly the information you need without looking any further: Fitting and maintenance instructions, approvals and care instructions.

Numerous other sales and marketing services, intelligent ordering systems and the associated seminar programmes ensure that trading partners and craftsmen, as well as architects and planners, receive the digital support they need for successful, efficient collaboration.

As a family business, Hörmann is very conscious of its responsibility to future generations. This is why we offer our residential construction products CO₂-neutral as standard at all European sales locations. In addition, products for construction projects are also optionally available as CO₂-neutral versions throughout Europe. We achieve this by continuously reducing our CO₂ emissions and offsetting any remaining CO₂ emissions through certified climate protection projects.

For us, commitment to sustainability is not just a passing trend, but a fundamental concern. Numerous projects in our production plants reflect this attitude. One example is our return and recycling system for used sectional garage door sections. Retailers return used sections to us and we separate the sheet steel from the rigid foam core in our own recycling plant and then recycle both materials. Another example: We are currently converting our plant for industrial sectional doors and side doors in Steinhagen to a new painting technology and will use a more environmentally friendly but very robust water-based paint there in the future. The new plant will make us virtually independent of fossil fuels and reduce our use of solvents by more than 70 per cent.
