High-speed door HS 5040 TurboLux S
With an impressive opening speed of more than four metres per second, the high-speed door HS 5040 TurboLux S from Hörmann is currently the fastest vertically opening industrial high-speed door in the world. This has been confirmed by the Record Institute for Germany (RID) – the German equivalent of the Guinness Book of Records. This high speed protects the door from impact damage and reduces draughts. This makes the HS 5040 TurboLux S an ideal solution when fast, uninterrupted material flow and energy-efficient operations are required. It combines efficiency with reliable performance, with the design optimised for the extreme speed and braking required. The drive’s spur gear is particularly low-wear and designed for over one million cycles. The largely transparent door leaf allows more natural light to enter with a clear view, and an integrated safety light curtain monitors the door closing area.
