As a family business, we are very conscious of our responsibility to future generations and offer all products for residential construction CO₂-neutral as standard. Light, quiet, precise

The 42 mm thick panels with PU foam infill are guided safely and precisely by stable twin rollers at the top and in a rounded floor rail at the bottom. The floor rail is open on both ends, making it easy to clean.

Finger trap protection inside and outside

Optimally shaped door section transitions and hinges prevent fingers from being accidentally trapped.

Double automatic safety cut-out

The reliable automatic safety cut-out is active during both the opening and the closing cycle of the door. The door stops immediately if there is an unexpected obstacle in the opening zone or in the wall guide.
This prevents injuries and damage to vehicles or property.

Faster access to the garage

Side sliding sectional doors can also be opened partially to allow pedestrian passage. This lets you get into your garage faster, for example if you need to get your bike out.

More convenient with automatic partial opening

The pedestrian passage width can be individually set for doors with operator. The door is operated via the hand transmitter or the optional door handle with radio module.

Added safety is a given

Uninvited guests barely stand a chance with Hörmann automatic sectional doors. When the garage door is closed, the anti-lift kit automatically engages in the boom’s stop, then locks immediately and is secured against forced opening.

This door locking works in a purely mechanical way and therefore, in contrast to competitor operators, remains effective even without a power supply.

Locked

The elegant door handle with recessed grip ensures easy operation from both inside and outside. When closing, three hooks on the curve side and three security bolts on the closing side of the door leaf engage and firmly connect the door leaf to the side frame. On manually operated doors, a hook catch lock additionally secures the closing side.

BiSecur radio system with certified security

The bi-directional BiSecur radio system uses future-oriented technology to conveniently and securely operate garage door and entrance gate operators, other door operators, lights and more.

This extremely secure BiSecur encryption protocol, developed by Hörmann, with a stable, interference-free range, makes sure that no one can copy your radio signal. It was tested and certified by security experts at Bochum university and independent test institutes.

Smart control and intelligent ease of use

You can operate your garage and entrance door operators, door operators, entrance door locks and many other things easily and conveniently via hand transmitter, radio button or app on your smartphone or tablet for maximum convenience. All operators, receivers and control elements are equipped with the certified Hörmann BiSecur radio technology and are fully compatible with each other.

With the Smart Home system homee, you can control all door functions from the comfort of your sofa via your tablet or smartphone.

Convenient querying of the door position

You no longer have to go out in wind and bad weather,  to check if your door is closed. At the press of a button, the colour of the LED on the HS 5 BS hand transmitter or the FIT 5 BS internal push button indicates the door position.  If required, another push of a button* closes the door. It is the most convenient and secure way to control your door.

Aluminium door frame for quick fitting for uneven walls

The aluminium door frame for side sliding sectional doors can be completely pre-assembled before alignment and fastening to the garage wall. This saves a considerable amount of time during fitting. Additionally, the reinforced construction of the door frame simplifies installation on uneven walls and is therefore particularly suitable for renovations. The door frame, made of anodised aluminium, is corrosion-resistant and optionally available for all HST 42 side sliding sectional doors and HART 42 aluminium frame doors.

Continuous threshold seal

Thanks to the floor rail with continuous threshold seal, the side sliding sectional door impresses with class 2 water tightness and air permeability. This ensures that the door is well-sealed against penetrating rainwater and leaves. This keeps the garage cleaner for longer which means it must be cleaned less often. In addition, the risk of accidents by slipping is reduced.

Aluminium frame door for more light transmission and improved ventilation

The HART 42 aluminium frame door is used where more light in the garage or better ventilation is desired, e.g. in parking spaces of collective garages. The combination of the aluminium frame and the extensive, evenly divided glazing ensures a harmonious and elegant door appearance. With a total of 12 different infill variations with glazings, grilles or PU sandwich panels, the side sliding sectional door can be adapted to your individual requirements and design preferences. Depending on the infill, the HART 42 guarantees transparency, light transmission and good ventilation in the garage. The aluminium frame door is only available with an operator.

Cleaning doors and frames couldn’t be easier with the cleaning and maintenance set developed exclusively for Hörmann in collaboration with Sonax. With this set, you can achieve a professional finish – fast. This means that the construction components retain their colour intensity over the long term and are optimally protected against wear and corrosion. This set has been specially tested by Hörmann and includes a perfectly matched cleaner and polish. The set not only makes cleaning much easier but also reduces the risk of damaging the construction components.
