On 26 February 2020, Shakti Hörmann opened its doors to host the first Corporate Social Responsibility & Development Round Table in Gagillapur. Hörmann received jointly with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) a delegation of officials from Gagillapur, Dundigal and the responsible government district of Telangana, as well as CSR representatives and interested parties from various companies in the region.
In an effort to jointly further the holistic and sustainable development of Gagillapur and Dundigal, Hörmann and GIZ informed the participants of the event about projects that were already successfully implemented and their positive impact on life and work in the region. The CSR & Development Round Table facilitated exchange and education as well as the creation of a common understanding of the interests and needs in the region. Contacts were made, information was exchanged and ideas for future projects were developed to strengthen and further expand the positive developments in Gagillapur and Dundigal.
